The Powell Peralta Caballero Chinese Dragon Gold Foil 10'' is a faithful re-issue of one of the most iconic skateboard graphics and shapes from the 1980’s.
Originally released in 1986 during the filming era of The Search for Animal Chin, the legendary Chinese Dragon artwork was created by Vernon Courtlandt Johnson and inspired by Chinese takeout box artwork. The graphic became one of the defining visuals of classic Powell-Peralta skateboarding history.
The deck features the classic fish shape with a wide 10'' platform, short 30'' length, and stable 15'' wheelbase, making it ideal for transition skating, bowls, cruising, collectors, and old-school setups.
Its SP3 concave delivers a classic old-school board feel with stable control and comfortable foot placement.
The deck uses the original long 4 old-school truck hole pattern, and Powell recommends Indy Stage 4 166 trucks with 6-hole baseplates for proper fitment.
Built using Powell-Peralta Re-Issue Construction, the deck closely reproduces the original 1980’s shape, graphics, and concave using U.S. hard rock maple and traditional construction methods.
Finished with a detailed gold foil Chinese Dragon graphic and supplied with 10.5'' black griptape.
