These terms apply when a consumer purchases goods or services from nordicskateboardsupply.se. Mandatory consumer law always applies.

Orders

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Please check that the products, price, billing details and delivery details are correct. If anything is incorrect, contact [email protected] without delay.

We may contact you if a product is unavailable or an obvious price or product-information error has occurred. Any payment for an order that cannot be fulfilled will be refunded.

Prices and payment

Prices are stated in SEK and include applicable VAT. The total price, delivery charge and available payment methods are shown before the order is completed.

Available payment methods may include Swish, card payment through Stripe and payment methods offered through Kustom Checkout, including Klarna and supported digital wallets. The payment methods actually available for an order are shown in the checkout.

Delivery

Orders are normally dispatched within 1–3 working days. Delivery time depends on the destination and delivery method. Orders placed during weekends are dispatched no earlier than the following working day.

Deliveries are mainly carried out by DSV/Schenker and DHL. The available delivery options, prices and restrictions are shown in the checkout.

Nordic Skateboard Supply currently delivers to Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Czechia, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Croatia and Greece.

The customer is responsible for providing correct and complete delivery information. If incorrect or incomplete customer information makes a new shipping label or a new shipment necessary, a charge of 250 SEK may apply. No charge applies where Nordic Skateboard Supply or the carrier caused the error.

An uncollected shipment is not by itself a notice of withdrawal. Nordic Skateboard Supply may deduct the direct delivery and return costs caused by an uncollected shipment, to the extent permitted by law.

If a delivery is delayed, contact [email protected]. Any mandatory rights relating to delayed delivery remain unaffected.

Product information

We reserve the right to correct printing, price and product-information errors and to mark products as sold out. Product images may differ slightly from the product because of lighting, photography, screen settings or later changes made by the manufacturer. This does not limit mandatory rights where a product does not conform to the agreement.

Manufacturers may change product specifications, construction, graphics, packaging or other product characteristics without prior notice. Nordic Skateboard Supply is not responsible for manufacturer changes or other matters outside its control, except where mandatory law provides otherwise or the product does not conform to the agreement.

Complaints concerning defective or incorrectly delivered products

If a product is defective, damaged on delivery or incorrectly delivered, contact [email protected] within a reasonable time. Include your name, order number, a description of the problem and, where useful, photographs.

Contact us before sending the product so that we can provide appropriate return instructions. Valid complaints are handled without return-label or handling charges for the customer. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Nordic Skateboard Supply inspects products before dispatch. We may reject a complaint if an examination shows that the product is not defective or incorrectly delivered under applicable law.

Force majeure

We accept no responsibility for indirect damages that may arise due to the product.

Nordic Skateboard Supply is not responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, subject to mandatory consumer law.

Such circumstances may include labour disputes, fire, war, government decisions, or reduced or failed delivery from a supplier.

Safety, product use and limitation of liability

Skateboarding and related activities involve inherent risks, including falls, collisions, personal injury and property damage. Products must be used only for their intended purpose, in accordance with any manufacturer instructions and with suitable protective equipment.

The customer and user are responsible for selecting suitable and compatible products, correct assembly and adjustment, regular inspection and maintenance, replacing worn or damaged parts, and stopping use where damage, abnormal wear or a possible safety issue is identified.

To the extent permitted by mandatory law, Nordic Skateboard Supply is not responsible for personal injury, property damage, indirect loss or consequential loss resulting from the ordinary risks of skateboarding, incorrect product selection, incompatible components, incorrect assembly, installation or adjustment, insufficient maintenance, modification, misuse, use contrary to instructions, continued use of worn or damaged products, or failure to use suitable protective equipment.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights and applicable liability for personal injury or property damage caused by a product safety defect.

Changes to these terms

The terms applicable to an order are the terms in force when the order is placed. Updated terms are published on the website and do not apply retroactively to completed purchases.

Disputes and applicable law

Swedish law applies without limiting mandatory consumer protection applicable in the consumer’s country of residence.

If a dispute cannot be resolved with our customer service, the consumer may contact:

Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN)
Box 174
101 23 Stockholm
Sweden
www.arn.se

Nordic Skateboard Supply intends to participate in ARN proceedings and follow ARN recommendations.

Returns and Right of Withdrawal

Fourteen-day right of withdrawal

Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For goods, the period begins when the consumer, or a person designated by the consumer, receives the goods. Return claim.

To withdraw, send a clear message to [email protected] before the withdrawal period expires. State your name, order number and the products concerned. The Swedish Consumer Agency’s standard withdrawal form may also be used.

Return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal notice.

Return shipping

The customer bears the direct cost of returning goods when exercising the right of withdrawal. Contact Nordic Skateboard Supply for return instructions. Returns must be securely packed. Cash-on-delivery shipments and shipments that impose unapproved charges on Nordic Skateboard Supply are not accepted.

Nordic Skateboard Supply can provide a prepaid return label at the following prices:

  • Small parcel, with no dimension longer than 40 cm: 150 SEK
  • Standard box, approximately 90 x 20 x 7 cm: 200 SEK
  • Large box, approximately 90 x 20 x 15–20 cm: 240 SEK

Refunds

Refunds are made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. When the entire order is withdrawn, the refund includes the cost of the least expensive standard outbound delivery offered for the order. Additional delivery costs resulting from another delivery method are not refunded.

Nordic Skateboard Supply may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or the customer provides evidence that they have been sent back.

No exchange service is offered. A customer who wants another product may return the original product in accordance with these terms and place a new order.

Condition of returned goods and reduction in value

The customer may inspect a product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function. The customer is responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose. Any deduction is assessed individually and is limited to the product’s actual reduction in value.

The following guidelines may be used in that individual assessment:

  • Softgoods may be carefully opened and tried on. No deduction is made if they are returned clean, unused and undamaged.
  • When a hardgood is clearly visible through tight, factory-applied shrink-wrap, unnecessary removal or destruction of that protective packaging may result in a deduction of up to 50% if this objectively reduces the product’s value.
  • Packaging that must be opened to inspect a product that cannot otherwise be seen may be opened carefully. No deduction is made if the product remains unused and undamaged and the packaging remains reasonably intact.
  • Unnecessary damage to cardboard or other product packaging may result in a deduction of up to 50%, depending on the damage and the importance of the packaging for protecting, storing and shipping the product.
  • Bearings and similar oily precision products may have a reduction in value of up to 100% where the original protective packaging has been discarded or made unusable and the resulting loss of oil, contamination or transport risk has objectively made the product unusable or without remaining value.
  • Mounted or installed trucks, wheels, bearings, bolts and similar components may have a reduction in value of up to 75% where mounting has caused marks, wear or other damage.
  • Applied griptape cannot normally be removed and reused. Its separate value may therefore be reduced by up to 100%. Any reduction in the value of the skateboard deck is assessed separately.
  • A deck or assembled skateboard that has been irreversibly modified, gripped, cut, drilled, mounted, used or damaged may have a reduction in value of up to 100% where the product has objectively lost all remaining value. The deduction is not automatic and depends on the condition of the returned product.

Customer-requested assembly and griptape services

Assembly, mounting and application of griptape can irreversibly modify products and may cause marks or other changes that cannot be restored to factory condition. The possible reduction in value of the goods is assessed under the guidelines above.

Where the customer expressly requests that an assembly or griptape service begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledges that the right to withdraw from the service ends when it has been fully performed, the service is handled in accordance with that request and applicable law.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply in the situations provided by law, including goods made according to the consumer’s instructions or given a clear personal character, sealed goods that cannot appropriately be returned for health or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken, and a fully performed service where the legally required express request and acknowledgement were provided.

Defective or incorrectly delivered products

The return charges and value-reduction guidelines above do not apply to defects or incorrect deliveries for which Nordic Skateboard Supply is legally responsible. Such cases are handled separately as complaints and without return charges for the customer.
