Darkstar Skateboards produces 7-ply Canadian maple decks and Super decks such as Impact Light skateboard decks for street, park, and transition skating. Popular sizes include 8.0" and 8.25", with Impact Light constructions offering reduced weight and increased durability.
Darkstar Skateboards was founded in 1997 by Chet Thomas and operates under the Dwindle Distribution umbrella, becoming known for its glossy, unique graphics featuring the brand’s signature armored knight. Decks are available in traditional 7-ply Canadian maple popsicle shapes as well as Impact Light models using composite reinforcement designed to increase strength while reducing weight and improving pop, with notable riders including Ryan Decenzo, Greg Lutzka, and Dave Bachinsky.
Built from 7-ply Canadian maple, Darkstar skateboard decks deliver solid durability, responsive pop, and reliable control for street, park, and transition skating, while Impact Light construction offers reduced weight with added reinforcement for higher-impact riding. Popsicle shapes in 8.0" to 8.25" widths provide a balanced platform suited to technical tricks, ledges, rails, and everyday sessions.
