The Independent MID 144 Polished Standard Skateboard Trucks deliver lower profile performance with classic Independent turning response and upgraded inverted kingpin technology designed for modern street skateboarding.
Built on Independent’s legendary geometry, the MiD trucks feature a lower profile hanger that improves contact point angle on the nose and tail for quicker flip tricks, more responsive pop, and better control during technical street skating, ledges, rails, and all-around skateboarding.
Standing 52 mm tall, the MiD profile provides optimal wheel clearance for wheels 54 mm and under while maintaining smooth controlled turning and stable predictable handling.
The newly designed inverted Grade 8 kingpin improves grind clearance while allowing adjustment using either a standard 9/16" hex wrench or 5.5 mm Allen key. Independent’s innovative Shaft Nut technology built into the baseplate eliminates lateral movement and kingpin wiggle for a tighter more durable setup with improved adjustability.
Manufactured from lightweight and durable A356 T6 heat-treated aluminum, these trucks provide excellent grind feel together with long-lasting strength for demanding skate sessions. The premium Chromoly steel axle is engineered to handle heavy impacts while maintaining responsive performance and reliable durability.
