The Powell Peralta Ray Underhill Chain and Cross Gold Foil deck is a limited edition re-issue honoring one of the most respected skaters of the late 1980’s Bones Brigade era.
Originally released in 1990, Ray Underhill’s iconic Chain and Cross pro model featured a distinctive blunt-nose shape that stood out during the transition between classic vert and modern street skating. Known for his smooth style and technical ability on vert ramps, Ray became a highly respected figure within skateboarding both on and off the board.
The deck features a wide 9.9'' platform, longer 15.37'' wheelbase, and classic directional shape designed for transition skating, bowls, cruising, collectors, and old-school setups.
Its K21 concave provides a responsive but comfortable board feel with stable foot placement and smooth control.
The deck uses a new school short 4 truck hole pattern, allowing compatibility with modern truck setups.
Finished with a detailed gold foil Chain and Cross graphic by Sean Cliver, each deck may feature slight foil variations or faint production lines, making every board unique.
