New April x Spitfire wheels drop now available!

New April x Spitfire wheels are now at Nordic Skateboard Supply, with a mix of Formula Four 99a wheels and a softer 90a option. The drop includes Radial, Conical Full and Classic shapes, with sizes from 52 mm up to 56 mm.

The April x Spitfire wheels in the drop include:

  • Spitfire Formula Four Radial April Sapphire Clear: 56 mm, 90a
  • Spitfire Formula Four Radial Big Head Rose April Black Blue Swirl: 56 mm, 99a
  • Spitfire Formula Four Radial Big Head Rose April: 54 mm, 99a
  • Spitfire Formula Four Conical Full April Yuto: 54 mm, 99a
  • Spitfire Formula Four Conical Full April Yuto Black: 53 mm, 99a
  • Spitfire Formula Four Classic April Shane O'Neill: 52 mm, 99a

The Radial wheels are the smooth and stable options in the drop. The shape has a wider riding surface with rounded edges, giving the wheel a stable feel when you want more speed and control.

The April Sapphire Clear 56 mm Radial comes in Spitfire's 90du cruiser formula. The clear sapphire urethane also looks really good if you want a wheel that stands out but still matches easily with different decks and trucks.

The Big Head Rose April Black Blue Swirl is also 56 mm, but comes in Formula Four 99a. That makes it the harder and more skatepark-friendly Radial option. The mixed black and blue urethane swirl looks really cool and offers something different from a regular white Formula Four wheel.

The 54 mm Big Head Rose April Radial is the slightly smaller 99a Radial option. It still gives you the stable Radial shape, but in a more regular street and park size if you want something a little more trick-friendly.

There are also two April Yuto Conical Full wheels in the drop:

  • April Yuto Conical Full: 54 mm, 99a
  • April Yuto Conical Full Black: 53 mm, 99a

The Conical Full shape gives you a wider version of Spitfire's Conical profile, with a large riding surface and cut-in sidewalls. It is a good shape if you want a wide, stable wheel with lots of grip.

The 53 mm Yuto Black wheel matches really nicely with a lot of decks and black trucks, while the 54 mm Yuto wheel is natural urethane colour and matches nicely with most setups.

The Shane O'Neill Classic 52 mm is the most technical street wheel in the drop. The smaller 52 mm size gives quick acceleration and a low, responsive setup with round sidewalls and a medium-width riding surface.
