The Powell Peralta McGill Skull and Snake McTwist 40th 10'' celebrates the 40th anniversary of one of the most iconic skateboard graphics and tricks in skateboarding history.
Created to honor Mike McGill’s legendary McTwist, the deck features a special anniversary version of the classic Skull & Snake artwork with premium gold foil and pearl ink detailing.
Originally released in 1984, the graphic was created by Vernon Courtlandt Johnson while Mike McGill was developing the McTwist. Inspired by Florida’s snakes and lightning storms, the design became one of the most recognizable graphics of the 1980’s.
The wide 10'' old-school shape is ideal for transition skating, bowls, cruising, collectors, and classic setups with stable control and authentic retro feel.
Built using Powell-Peralta Re-Issue Construction, the deck closely recreates the original shape, graphics, and concave using traditional U.S. hard rock maple construction.
The deck uses the classic LONG 4 – 2.5'' old school truck pattern. Powell recommends Indy Stage 4 166 trucks with 6-hole baseplates for proper fitment.
