Update for for drop 2.
The feedback from our customers gave this insight into the Last Resort AB shoes from drop 1.
If you are a size US-11 with a wider foot, you will fit a US-10. With average thin socks it will fit like a snug skate shoe feel and break in to your foot shape perfectly.
If you are usually a size US-10 then consider a US-9.5.
We found sized up to US-9 were a true to size.
The innersole is good quality and removable.
The durability of the shoe is excelent. They hold up really well against a lot of griptape wear.
Nordic Skateboard Supply had no warrenty returns on drop 1 prodcts. Well done. Top marks Last Resort AB.
We were pleased to find that these shoes fit great right out of the box. Development of the Last Resort AB footware has focused on detail and it shows. We hope this is the the very first entry to a great new shoe brand.

About our first Shoe: The “VM001” is our first shoe made solely with skateboarding in mind - in every detail. A silhouette that is nice and simple, just the way we skaters like it. Extensive testing and development has gone into creating a highly functional shoe for skateboarding and beyond, without compromising style. Every part of the shoe is customized for Last Resort AB according to our preferences and experience. Our mantra: “Intention to Detail” is incorporated throughout the entire process resulting in a shoe filled with hidden functionality.
The Last: We have modified the shape of the last to ensure a better more snug fit where it matters the most.
The Sole: We have created a sole pattern with great grip and stability in mind, as an added bonus all angles are slanted in a way that does not collect gravel...you’re welcome. The Foxing tape: We have fine tuned the thickness and height of the tape to ensure great flexibility and board feel, it’s truly a millimeters game that matters.
The Upper and Laces: Panels in the danger zone are reinforced with double stitching. Our structured laces are made of 100% Cotton, which will age and tear more gracefully than any poly-mix laces, they will also stay in place better than the synthetic alternative.
Last but not least. These shoes are made by and for Skateboarders around the world, girls and boys out on the streets having fun, being creative. We don’t have any corporate backing, no one telling us what to do. And neither should you. BREAK FREE

“I like turning dreams into reality. I love creating & making things; everything from the perfect shaped board to solving “the skaters pants nightmare”. They say, if you can’t find it design it or if you are unhappy with something well shut up and make it better. My first big dream in life was to become a pro-skater in U.S.A which felt like an impossible mission in the 90’s. Well at least when you live in a small town in Sweden. With a bit of luck a bit of talent and what not somehow that happened.
At some point in my pro-days I felt that I wanted to express my own ideas create my own films & projects. Present my perspective on our culture and show how we via DIY spirits, community, friendship can create great things together... (dream two)
Well about about 10 years ago I felt that I no longer could connect with the direction our industry was going, it felt stale & strange. So I started my own board company, Polar Skate Co… (dream three) The past years or so when I look out at the so called skate shoe landscape there is something about it that feels off & weird these huge corporations running things their way... It’s a feeling and like I said above if your are unhappy with a situation shut up and do something about it.. (dream four has started)” – Alv

Me and my friend Daniel had been working in the apparel industry for well over a decade before we started our own company in 2018. We named the company Last Resort AB and the brand “3-3-20”… a seemingly random numerical sequence that held a personal value, but kind of stupid from a branding perspective. We began making high-end sneakers, sold in some stores in Japan only. In 2019 I was talking to Pontus whom I’ve known since the early nineties through skateboarding in Sweden. He was chilling at his local beachfront bar in Portugal. We talked about life, personal values and breaking free from the corporate world. As it turned out we also shared the same dream in creating a shoe company. We decided then and there to join forces and re-launch our company with Pontus onboard as an equal partner. We set a goal to perfect and bring out our first shoe made for skateboarding and beyond, and we are stoked to finally release something that really represents our vision and requirements.
